Day 1 - Thursday, July 8: Your Hometown

Your vacation begins when you board your overnight flight to Berlin. Plan your flight to arrive in the late morning. Remember you are flying home from Vienna!

Day 2 - Friday, July 9:  Arrive Berlin, Germany

Meet all your new singles travel friends as you are greeted at the airport and transferred to our hotel. Shuttles will beBerlin at Night running throughout the day. After checking into our hotel, receive your 3-Day Museum Pass. The pass allows you to visit around 70 Berlin museums and collections including the famous buildings of the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin - Preußischer Kulturbesitz including the Bode Museum, the Pergamon Museum, the Egyptian Museum and Gemäldegalerie.

An evening cruise is the perfect start to our singles tour. You'll be surprised to discover that Berlin has more bridges than Venice!  Glide along the River Spree and pass all the main sights such as Potsdamer Platz, the Reichstag, Museum Island, Berlin Cathedral and much more.

Day 3 - Saturday, July 10: Berlin

Berlin BridgeOur morning walking tour goes deeper than just introducing the sites: delve into the city’s amazing history, from the darkest hours to the brightest moments. We start off at the symbol of Germany: the Brandenburg Gate. From there we follow the line of the Berlin Wall, through the Nazi Government District to Checkpoint Charlie. After a coffee break we head through the 1920s Cabaret Mile, over Berlin’s grandest square - Gendarmenmarkt - to Museum Island. The tour concludes in the beautiful surroundings of the Lustgarten - the old royal gardens - in the heart of the city, a stone’s throw from some of the best museums in the world.  Also see The Reichstag, Hitler’s Bunker, The new Holocaust Memorial, Potsdamer Platz, Museum Island and the former SS Headquarters.

Afternoon free.  You can continue to use your museum pass, take an optional tour or purchase your German souvenirs.

Enjoy your Welcome Dinner at a local pub before we start our Pub Crawl.  The nightlife in Berlin is awesome; from underground bars to funky cocktail lounges, from rock concerts to thumping clubs, see a side of Berlin you couldn't find on your own. Tonight we will join the New Berlin Pub Crawl including FREE SHOTS ALL NIGHT LONG, FREE BEER for 45 minutes, all entrance into clubs, drinks specials in the bars along the way, and a great time! Get into clubs that normally visitors (especially those who don't speak German) would never get into, and we never wait in the line.

Day 4 - Sunday, July 11:  Berlin - Potsdam

Sanssouci PalaceFor centuries Potsdam served as the location of the royal residence of Germany’s royal family, and later the garrison of the fearsome Prussian army. Stuck behind the Iron Curtain on the Communist side of Berlin and Germany, this palace city has only become easily accessible in the last 19 Sanssouci Palaceyears. Discover the Versailles of Germany, on this half-day trip from Berlin. Visit the UNESCO World Heritage-listed parks, museums and stately palaces of Potsdam and see the Dutch Quarter, St. Nicholas' Church, the historic Town Hall, the Old Royal Stables, Nauen Gate and New Palais.

Next take a tour of Sanssouci Palace and its gardens. The celebrated rococo palace was the summer residence of Frederick the Great, where he came to relax ('sans souci' means 'carefree'). The palace is located above a vineyard and the splendid rooms feature elegant rococo designs.

Afternoon free time to discover that final Berlin treasure. Museum Pass is still valid.

Berlin is home to the best in light entertainment - musicals, the vaudevilles, the Friedrichstadtpalast, Europe's largest show theatre with its legendary high-step line of girls and breathtaking stage shows, tonight let's take advantage of what Berlin has to offer (optional).. Day 5 - Monday, July 12: Berlin to Prague

After an early breakfast we transfer to the Berlin Hbf train station and board our nonstop train bound for Prague. Our group is met at the station were we begin our fascinating journey through the history of Prague, an enchanting city Prague Castlewith over 4,000 monuments.

First we drive along the Moldava River to Prague Castle, where we will enjoy a walking tour. Visit Prague Castle, which has retained churches, chapels, halls and towers from every period of its history, and then St. Vitus Cathedral. We continue with a walk down the hill to Charles Bridge, one of the most famous cultural monuments in Prague. This bridge is 1706 ft long with 30 statues and connects the Old Town with the Little Quarter. Then walk through the Old Town where you will discover many unique shops on both sides of the street. The tour finishes in the Old Town Square at the Old Town Hall with its famous Astronomical clock. Here, you can also admire the beauty of the gothic Tyn Church and the baroque St. Nicholas's Church.

Let's have lunch at a Medieval Brewery. First watch a brewery tour video and sample a beer with the brew master, then onto the processing vaults where the brew master will show us the brewing process. After the tour we will have lunch, potato soup followed by beer goulash and dumplings, then for dessert, apple pie. All washed down with another creamy black beer. The local musicians will entertain us during lunch. 

Kirzik Singing FountainTonight discover the Krizik's Singing Fountain, a spectacular show based on music and light arrangements together with stunning water creations. During the performance hear recorded music from world-known authors of classical and modern music such as Vivaldi, Beethoven, Mozart, Beatles, Jean Michel Jare', Queen and others. After the performance take a bus tour of Illuminated Prague passing by Charles Bridge, Prague Castle, Municipal House, Powder Tower and the National Theatre.

Day 6 - Tuesday, July 13:  Prague

Get acquainted with the history of two of the most famous castles around Prague. Konopiste & Karlstejn. Our full day excursion offers a fascinating insight into life in medieval times and the power of the peoples living in this area of Karlstejn CastleCentral Europe in centuries past. Konopiste, predominantly used for hunting, dates from the 14th century, with extensive reconstruction works being carried out in the 19th century. Inside, Konopiste houses a huge collection of historical weapons, period furniture, paintings and tapestries.

After Konopiste we break for lunch, then travel through the picturesque Czech countryside to arrive at stunning Karlstejn Castle. This is the most outstanding medieval castle founded and built by the mighty Emperor Charles IV. Constructed between 1348-1355, the castle was the main depository of the Emperor's coronation jewels and state documents for his whole empire.

Day 7 - Wednesday, July 14:  Prague

Day free to take an optional tour or just relax and enjoy Prague at your leisure.

Tonight just a few minutes walk from Prague's Old Town Square our Medieval Dinner is waiting and as we make our way downstairs, the sights and smells bring us back to an earlier, rougher period of history. From the ceilings hang ropes from wood beams and candles flicker on wrought-iron chandeliers as medieval music plays. Our serving wench brings drinks and our meal begins. Non-stop entertainment including a troupe of medieval musicians, drummers, beautiful dancers and sword fighters are abound. Your attention may be distracted by a beautiful belly dancer or a dancer with her pet iguana and snake at the end of your table!

While you enjoy your food a fortune-teller may visit your table to reveal what life has planned for you or perhaps a dwarf might challenge you to a game of dare with thumbscrews! 

Day 8 - Thursday, July 15: Prague to Vienna

After departure from the train station we stop for an optional dinner. Then enjoy our Vienna by Night drive along the Ring. View the monumental buildings like Hofburg Palace, Museum of Fine Arts, Houses of Parliament, City Hall, University and much more before going to the Prater amusement park. Experience a ride on the Giant Ferris Wheel and see Vienna at night.

Day 9 - Friday, July 16: Vienna

Our morning tour will give you an overall impression of the city of Vienna. Visit the most important St Stephenmonuments of Vienna's city center. Our guide will show us - the opera palace, the imperial palace "Hofburg", the Heroes square with the fine arts and natural history museums, the Vienna town hall, the Austrian parliament, the imperial pastry shop Demel, the Graben square with the black column, Saint Stephen's cathedral and many other places of interest in the narrow streets of Vienna's old town. The highlight is our visit to the Schonbrunn Palace, the summer residence of the Habsburg family. See the beautiful showrooms of the palace with all the historical explanations.

This afternoon enjoy free time to explore the museums, palaces or shops of your choice.

Day 10 - Saturday, July 17: Austria CountrysideDurnstein

The Danube Valley Day Trip from Vienna reveals the exquisite beauty of the Wachau Valley. We will travel through the beautiful Austrian countryside and then take a scenic boat ride down the Danube. The history and legends of this part of Austria come to life as we drive past charming old villages, steep vineyards and mysterious castles. One such castle is the well-known Durnstein, where Richard the Lionheart was imprisoned while waiting for his ransom to arrive from England.

Then enjoy a boat ride down the Danube from Splitz to Melk, passing the heart of the Wachau Valley at the old wine town of Krems. To complete our superb excursion visit Melk's magnificent Benedictine Abbey, a pearl of the Austrian Baroque style. While in Melk, you can have an optional lunch in the abbey's restaurant.Austria Dinner Show

Tonight enjoy a 3-couse Farewell dinner while watching The Austrian Dinner Show Ensemble. Consisting of highly talented musicians, excellent vocal soloists and spirited dancers, who appear in colorful local costumes of the various musical regions of Austria.

Day 11 - July 18 - Depart Vienna

Sad to say but our Berlin - Prague Vienna singles vacation has come to an end. After breakfast it is time to say goodbye to all your new travel buddies as we make our way to the airport and our flights home.
