Buenos Aires, Argentina Singles Vacation Itinerary


Day 1 - Friday: Arrive Buenos Aires, Argentina

Upon arrival in Beunos Aires you will be met at the airport and transfered to our hotel. Free time to relax before we start our trip around this wonderful city. Meet your group leader and join the group for an optional dinner.

Day 2 - Saturday: Buenos Aires

Today we explore Buenos Aires on our full Day tour of the city. Soaked in culture, the city is a giant living, breathing museum showcasing a vibrant, and often volatile, blend of European and Latin American influences. Learn about Eva Perón, one of the city's most famous inhabitants.

See the symbol of Buenos Aires: the obelisk. Visit multiple squares such as Plaza de Mayo, Plaza San Martín, and Plaza Congreso. Pass through avenues such as Corrientes, Mayo and 9 de Julio among others. See the many historical neighborhoods like La Boca, San Telmo and Montserrat. Enjoy the elegant neighborhoods such as Palermo and Recoleta as well.

Tonight enjoy our Welcome Dinner at a local Argentinian resturant.

Day 3 - Sunday: Buenos Aires

Buenos Aires is known for its open-air markets (mercados) which combine shopping with entertainment. Today we visit the most famous, The San Telmo Antiques Fair. Street vendors sell their wares as singers and dancers move among the crowd to tango music. Then spend free time in the San Telmo neighborhood, the streets here are picturesquely cobbled, and the fascinating little shops are well worth a browse. People watch as you take a break in a cafe.

Tonight we visit a Milonga, a typical tango venue, where we will be introduced to the world of tango through a discussion of its history and the codes of the milonga, like the “cabeceo” (invitation to dance) and the organization of the dance floor, among others. We will experience the true essence of the authentic tango of Buenos Aires.

Day 4 - Monday: Colonia, Uruguay

ColoniaDon't forget your passport as we are going to spend the day in a different country, Uruguay. Enjoy a 25 mile ferry ride across the Rio de la Plata to Colonia del Sacramento, or simply Colonia, a lively colonial town, with narrow cobble stoned streets flanked by whitewashed buildings.

We will have a walking tour of the historic portion of this charming town, built in a Portuguese style in 1860, of stone houses and cobblestoned streets will seem like a trip back in time.

Tonight we walk the famous Florida Street and check out the local vendors.

Day 5 - Tuesday: Buenos Aires

Day at lesiure for shopping, relaxing or join two Free Walking tours.

Startsat 11am - Buenos Aires is Special
Walk along the downtown area, witnessing some icons of the city and knowing about the secrets and history. In two and a half hours visit the major places of the downtown and through this wonderful city!

Starts at 5pm - Aristocratic Buenos Aires
Walk trough the contrasts that this city offers, from the most crowded streets to the most exclusive and quiet. For two hours you will see the history of the Aristocratic Buenos Aires and the strong European influence. See the neighborhoods of Recoleta and Retiro, their stories and curiosities from a different perspective. This is an entertaining, relaxed and interesting walk by the most elegant and expensive neighborhoods of Buenos Aires, with their palaces, mansions and large French-style buildings making to this part of the city the "Paris of South America".

Day 6 - Wednesday: Estanchia Tour

GauchosToday we experience the unique gaucho culture in a tranquil and beautiful setting. We leave the city behind as we travel to the countryside to visit an Estanchia. The gauchos will receive us with a warm and polite welcome to their ranch. You can ride a horse and enjoy a ride in a colonial carriage. At midday we will have a delicious traditional barbecue with a wide variety of salads.

During our lunch, a folkloric show with colorful dances of the region will take place. During the afternoon, we will see spectacular demonstrations: ring races and troop rides before we head back to Buenos Aires.

Day 7 - Thursday: Buenos Aires

Casa RosadaWith the favorable exchange rates Buenos Aires is a shopper's paradise, famous for its Leather bags, shoes, coats and accessories. Today is a free day for shopping or take one of the free walking tours described above.

Day 8 - Friday: Tigre Delta

Tigre DeltaToday we leave Buenos Aires to explore the Tigre Delta, one of the largest deltas in the world. Formerly a retreat for the wealthy, as well as a hideout for intellectuals and artists during Argentina's dictatorship, today we can take a boat ride around the delta.

First we will stop at San Isidro and visit the old quarter before we head towards Tigre city, where we will sail along the Delta of the Paraná river, made of thousands of islands and small rivers and surrounded by thick vegetation.

Tonight enjoy a splendid farewell dinner and tango show. See a top-quality show with professional tango singers and dancers, in one of the most exclusive atmospheres of Buenos Aires´ nightlife.

Day 9 - Saturday: Depart for home

Our tour ends after breakfast. Yuu will be transferred to the Buenos Aires airport according to your flight schedules. Say goodbye to all your new friends and the end of another singles vacation.
