the Sedona vortex.
Upon arrival, check-in, have lunch then it is off to stretch our legs on an easy but
scenic hike. At sunset, view the "Red Rocks of Sedona" as they appear to shimmer with brilliant red-orange
hues.
Tell your day's tales at our Welcome Dinner tonight.
Day 2 - Sunday: Sedona
Get your camera ready for this one, and don't forget your swim suit and hiking shoes. At
the north end of Sedona is the stunning Oak Creek Canyon, a breathtaking park that even today, is wildly
wonderful. Hike or cool off at a natural rock slide in an area so scenic it has
been listed by Life Magazine as one of America's ten most beautiful swimming holes. Many people don't consider
a trip to Arizona complete without a run down Slide Rock.
Free time this afternoon for shopping or take an optional jeep tour - Off road
on a thrilling Jeep adventure ride. Relive early cowboy days as we jeep past magnificent Red Rock canyons and
remarkable vistas. Ride along rugged and historic trails.
Tonight let's check out the local nightlife. Maybe even a country western
bar.
Day 3 - Monday: Grand Canyon
Today’s departure from Sedona offers a drive north, through the Oak
Creek Canyon scenic byway. From Oak Creek, our route takes us past Flagstaff and the San Francisco Peaks to
Grand Canyon National Park, a world heritage site.
Grand Canyon National Park is the most visited national park with 5 million
visitors annually. Located entirely in northern Arizona, the park encompasses 277 miles of the Colorado River
and adjacent uplands.
Private vans are the best way to explore the South
Rim. We can get stop and explore all the famous sites and non touristy areas of
the park. The South Rim features astounding views of what
took Mother Nature millions and millions of years to create. See the popular sights: Kolb
Studio, Hopi House, Lookout Studio and the Grand Canyon Railway Depot.
Day 4 - Tuesday: Grand Canyon - Lake Powell
Today’s route explores the 27 mile East Rim
Drive, skirting the deepest and widest part of the Grand Canyon, on our way to the 100 mile vistas of the Navajo
Nation. Our path to Lake Powell takes us through the largest Indian reservation in the United States, covering an area the size of West Virginia.
What better way to experience the inner canyon up close than with a
Grand Canyon Smooth Water rafting trip? Enjoy a float down the Colorado River from below Glen
Canyon Dam to Lees Ferry. This 15 mile ride will bring us past towering sandstone cliffs to historic
Lee's Ferry. Ancient pictographs, desert wildlife, and awesome vistas
await!
After a long day on the water it's time for a relaxing
evening.
Day 5 -
Wednesday: Monument Valley
Today offers a chance to see the landscape that John Wayne
made famous and meet the Navajo people on one of the treasures of the Navajo Nation. Once in Monument
Valley, you will see unforgettable views and learn about the Navajo
culture.
This great valley boasts sandstone masterpieces that tower at heights
of 400 to 1,000 feet, framed by scenic clouds casting shadows that graciously roam the desert floor. The
angle of the sun accents these graceful formations, providing scenery that is simply
spellbinding.
Let's enjoy dinner in Page tonight, maybe with a nice view
of Lake Powell
Day 6 -
Thursday: Lake Powell - Zion Naional Park
The mysterious and haunting beauty of Antelope Canyon awaits
us on our walking tour to this awe-inspring sculpter set in stone. Come see mother natures
surprising master piece of colors.
Antelope Canyon is possibly the most-photographed of northern Arizona's sandstone slot
canyons. The glowing orange and purple colors of the wind- and water-carved, narrow fissures in Antelope
Canyon feature in many beautiful
images.
After an amazing scenic drive we reachBryce Canyon National Park, named for one of many canyons which form a series of
horseshoe-shaped amphitheaters on the edge of the Paunsaugunt Plateau in southern Utah. Erosion has carved colorful
Claron limestones into thousands of spires, fins, arches and mazes. Collectively called "hoodoos," these unique
formations are whimsically arranged and tinted with colors too numerous and subtle to name.
After Bryce, we travel south to Zion National
Park for a scenic tour of the east end of the park. The park is known for its incredible canyons, including The
Narrows, which attract canyoneers from around the world
Day 7 - Friday: Zion - Las Vegas
This morning
begins with a scenic hike in Zion. The Virgin River has gnawed through native sandstone to create the
incredible scenery found in Zion Canyon. The river itself now serves as a natural corridor for exploring the park
and there are many hikes to choose from. Zion is home to 75 species of mammals, including mountain lions and mule deer, 271 different birds and 32 species
of reptiles and amphibians. The Kolob Arch, which, at a span of 310 feet, is the largest
natural arch in the world and one of the park's most famous landmarks.
Say goodbye to nature and Hello Neon Lights as we depart Zion for the
glitter of Las Vegas.
When the sun goes down, the day really begins at Planet Hollywood.
Whether it's Heart Bar, Privé or The Playing Field Lounge, there’s sure to be a vibe for everyone at the
hottest nightlife in Vegas.
Tonight after dinner (not included) see the world without
ever leaving the famous Las Vegas Strip. See the Volcano erupt at the Mirage, the Pirate Show at
