Waikiki hangout.
Rainforest and
Waterfall Adventure - Tuesday Morning
Just minutes from Waikiki the beautiful Rainforest and Waterfalls of
Manoa Valley are waiting for us. Our friendly drivers point
out places of interest and history along the way. Pass through the neighborhood where President Obama
grew up!
A 25-minute walk through lush rainforest ends at a 150 ft. waterfall and mountain
pool. Along the way take pictures of tropical bird life, mountain pools, an exotic Bamboo Forest and Mountain Apple
and Guava trees. The trail is rated for novice and beginner
levels.
Catamaran Cruise - Tuesday
1:00pm
A world class sailing experience on Hawaiian waters awaits us aboard
Makani Catamaran. Create memories as we sail along the shores of Oahu where we are often greeted by dolphins,
flying fish, sea turtles, and whales.
Makani has been certified by the U.S. Coast Guard as one of the safest in the
United States. The Catamaran offers a full bar, covered cabin seating area, Bose surround sound system, LCD TV,
sunbathing net areas, and pilothouse seating. It is sure to be the highlight of your vacation!
Pearl Harbor -
Wednesday Morning
Visit the U.S.S Arizona. The interpretive program consists of a brief talk by
a National Park Service ranger or a Pearl Harbor Survivor, followed by a 23-minute authentic documentary film of
the Pearl Harbor attack. Immediately after the film we depart the theater for the boat landing, where we will
board a Navy shuttle boat and begin our trip to the U.S.S. Arizona Memorial.
U.S.S Missouri Battleship and USS Bowfin Submarine Museum are optional
tours.
Kailua Beach Day - Snorkel - Kayak - Bike -
Thursday
Today we take the local bus (about 1.5 hours) to visit Kailua Beach.
Kailua, meaning 'Two Seas,' is a beautiful beach town located on the scenic south eastern shore on the island
of Oahu. Its gentle trade winds, a protective coral reef and consistent water temperature of 75
degrees makes it a perfect spot to snorkel.
Experience kayaking in Kailua and kayak out to protected sea-bird sanctuaries, turtle feeding grounds and
deserted islands as well as Lanikai Beach. You can either use a single or double kayak, paddles, life-jackets
(PFD's) and cart for four hours. Showers and lockers are available at the shop.
If you prefer to spend some time on dry land. Bike around quaint Kailua town, stop at beautiful Lanikai beach for a
swim or picnic. Follow bike paths around town and explore the windward side of Oahu.
Half day snorkel equipment, bike equipment and kayak equipment included.
Diamond Head Crater Hike - Saturday Morning
The most famous volcanic crater in the world is Mt. Leahi, better known as Diamond
Head, and is located along the southeast coast of Oahu, at the end of Waikiki. In the early 1800s, British sailors mistakenly thought the calcite crystals in the lava rocks
they saw glimmering from a distance were diamonds, hence the name. Diamond Head is a volcano that has been extinct
for 150,000 years. The crater is 3,520 in diameter with a 760 foot summit.
The hike is considered easy to moderate in exertion.
It is certainly worth the breathtaking, unparalleled view of the coastline. A must see for any
visitor!
Snorkeling - Saturday - 1:00pm
Hanauma Bay, located along the East Oahu coastline, was declared a
protected marine life conservation area and underwater park. This natural crescent beach is tucked inside the
walls of an extinct volcano. This is the best protected cove if you are new to snorkeling (and even if you're
not!), with a diverse population of marine life and a large, rich coral reef. Swim with over 450 species of
colorful tropical fish.
Our snorkeling adventure includes snorkel equipment
and instructions on use and an audio and DVD presentation on Hawaiian Marine Life en-route to Hanauma
Bay.
Hawaiian Luau - Saturday Night

Kick off your shoes and Go Native! Discover the way a luau was
meant to be and still is at Germaine's Too Good To Miss Luau.
Begin your final evening with a traditional
welcome, an Hawaiian Shell Lei. The sounding of the conch shell announces the beginning of the evening’s Luau
festivities! As the imu (underground oven) is uncovered, the savory aroma of the Kalua Pua’a (roasted pig) reminds
us that dinner is soon to be served.
